Your wedding day is filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments. The quiet anticipation before walking down the aisle, the joy that erupts on the dance floor, the way your loved ones look at you when they think no one’s watching. My goal is to document it all with intention and care. I approach every wedding with a balance of artistry and empathy, focusing not only on how your day looks, but on how it feels.
You can expect a mix of thoughtful direction and unobtrusive observation. I’ll guide you when it’s helpful, and fade into the background when it’s time to just be present. Every laugh, tear, and small gesture becomes part of your story, captured in a way that lets you relive your day again and again.
ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
From the moment I arrive, my role is so much more than just taking photos. I’ll help keep your day flowing smoothly, make sure we stay on track for portraits, and communicate clearly so you never have to wonder what’s next. Whether it’s adjusting the veil before you walk down the aisle or wrangling the bridal party with a smile. I’m there to ensure things feel effortless and enjoyable.
At the same time, I know when to step back and let the real moments happen naturally. I’ll be there quietly observing during the emotional ones, and cheering you on during the celebration.
MY GOAL WITH COUPLES
I want every couple I work with to feel confident, cared for, and completely themselves. My goal is for you to look back on your photos and remember not only how everything looked, but how it felt- the energy, the emotions, and the people who mean the most to you.
You deserve to feel your best, and I’ll do everything I can to create that environment- from encouragement behind the camera to helping your vision come to life. At the end of the day, your photos will tell a story that feels just like you: genuine, timeless, and full of heart.

Hi! I’m Amelie! (it’s pronounced Ah-muh-lee, though I answer to a variety of pronunciations 😉)
I’m a wedding photographer who loves capturing the essence of people - the little moments, the big emotions, and all the in-between. I’m deeply empathetic, and I approach every wedding with a desire to create images that feel genuine, timeless, and uniquely yours.
I’m always learning, experimenting, and finding ways to keep my work fresh while staying grounded in the core moments every bride will treasure in her gallery. Photography is more than a job to me. It’s how I connect with people, celebrate love, and tell stories that last a lifetime.
A little about me personally: I love trying new things! Recent obsessions include latte art and doing my own nails. Lake Michigan sunsets are my favorite, hands down. And getting married this year gave me an even deeper appreciation for weddings—the feeling of having all your friends and family together to celebrate your love is truly something special.
