Some sessions feel extra meaningful, and this one with the Hoekstra family was truly special. Photographing families over the years, and watching their stories continue to unfold, is one of the greatest gifts of my work as a West Michigan family photographer.

This summer session at the Felt Estate held even more significance for me, as I’ve had the honor of photographing the weddings of two of the three kids in this family. Being invited back to document their family together, in this new season, made me so happy.
